Salisbury, MD, December 2025- Matthew Trader of Rinnier Development Company and Tommy Burdett, of Nutech Home Sales at KW have successfully closed on the sale of the Outten Brothers Property in Salisbury, a site long regarded by many local residents as a community landmark.
The transaction was completed off-market and confidentially, with initial deal terms agreed upon and the property placed under contract in approximately 24 hours, reflecting a high level of coordination, trust, and market insight. At this time, plans for the property have not been disclosed, and no specific use has been publicly confirmed by the new owner.
For almost 80 years, the Outten Brothers Property has served as a recognizable gateway into Salisbury’s traditional marketplace, holding both historical and cultural significance within the city.
Trader commented: “This was one of the most unique deals I’ve ever worked on. The story behind it is epic...dealmaking at its finest. While I don’t yet know what the buyer has planned, I’m confident the property’s legacy and importance were well understood throughout the process.
I’m also incredibly grateful that we were able to help the sellers transition quickly into their next chapter, while still executing a great deal for both sides.
The best part for me personally was working on this with a great friend of mine, Tommy Burdett. His persistence and determination were vital in bringing this together. I don’t think either of us ever imagined we’d be doing business like this-riding around in my old Buick back in the day-yet here we are.”
